High School Program

The children undergo education from first grade to the tenth grade as per government prescribed syllabus. They stay in hostels and are provided boarding and lodging. The children are also taught vocational skills like tailoring, basket weaving, basic computer knowledge etc.

Some students go on to study higher education and college and get settled In government jobs. They are able to make a dignified living In the society on par with the general population.

This program Is a government aided program, wherein the government pays for the staff and hostel expenses.

The management is responsible for many types of maintenance expenses. We are grateful for our dear friends from Sweden, who sponsor for many additional needs of the children. The items include providing additional nutritious meals, cosmetics, private tutors, computer education, solar lamps and batteries, etc.

There are still additional needs for the high school children. The items include laying cement walking path, setting up a library room, creating a laboratory for science experiments, and patching and painting of classrooms.
